Do you ever feel that the phrase a working pastor’s wife is redundant? Like being a pastor’s wife isn’t job all in its self? Now don’t get me wrong I love what my husband does, and I love standing beside him in ministry and getting to minister to our youth group, but some times i don’t think people understand that being a pastors wife is a job. Wether we work at the church or have an outside job, (like me), those are all jobs in addition to being a wife first to our husbands and then being a partner to him in ministry and all the responsibility that comes with that. I woulndn’t trade what Jason and I do for the world, some times I just wish people understood what it was like to be in my shoes.

So I’m sitting here at acquire the fire in anaheim listening to every days sunday and thinking about all of the cool bands I have seen at the different youth events I have been to. Which then leads me to think about all the awesome things my husband and I get to do as youth pastors. Who could ask for a better job? We not only get to share Jesus’ love with teenagers and help shape their lives, but we also get to do really fun stuff. Yay for us!
